Incident report · Chapter 355

Detonation

Voyage day unrecorded

Hisoka reruns Chrollo's sequence and sees the extra steps: mark the copies with the sun before stamping them, and they become permanent explosive puppets. A puppet grabs the announcer's headset and broadcasts 'break Hisoka'; hundreds swarm. Hisoka whirls five puppets on Bungee Gum strands as a human hammer — and then Chrollo, through one squatting stranger, touches moon to sun. The severed head in Hisoka's left hand detonates and takes four of his fingers.

The severed head detonates in Hisoka's hand

A puppet seizes the announcer's headset and broadcasts 'break Hisoka'; hundreds of marked spectator-copies flood the ring. Hisoka swings a Bungee Gum hammer of puppets to hold the line — until Chrollo, via Black Voice, touches moon to sun and detonates the severed head Hisoka has carried all fight, obliterating four fingers of his right hand.

    Consequences (1)
    • Hisoka's own favorite prop was the bomb the whole time
  2. Nen revealCanonical
    The Sun and Moon deduction

Hisoka corrects his own model: The Sun and Moon needs only the left hand, so it runs while another ability is bookmarked — and copies marked by it survive because the dead owner's intensified Nen shields them. Chrollo can charge a body into a full-power bomb after landing the mark, then trigger it through a Black-Voice puppet. Every 'corpse' Hisoka has been swinging is a delayed detonation.

    Consequences (1)
    • The severed heads Hisoka fights with are Chrollo's planted ordnance
