Oito's personal maid, one of the few household staff in Room 1014 whose loyalty predates the voyage. Keeps the suite functioning while the guards keep it alive.

Addendum ch.412Her name is Shimanu, not Shimano — a correction she finally issues to Kurapika, who cannot hear the Kakin language's triphthongs. The pronunciation lesson is what tips Bill off to Oito's own name-trick around 'Woble'. Shimanu herself has known the infant was a boy since the first diaper change and quietly kept serving mother and child anyway.
