Activation
  • Manifest an owl; the tracking bird requires physical contact with the target.
Conditions
  • The planted bird is visible only to the user.
  • Only one bird (or one of each type) can exist at a time.
  • The replay function appears to unlock after prolonged continuous use on one target.
Effects
  • Eavesdropping through physical barriers (shoulder owl).
  • Persistent telepathic feed of a touched target's words and actions.
  • Leveled up under Benjamin: rewinds to what Musse witnessed before dying (ch 413).
Assessment
Description

Musse's surveillance owls: Nen-beast birds that eavesdrop through walls or, planted by touch, telepathically relay everything a target does and says. After Camilla's cat killed Musse, Benjamin inherited the ability via Benjamin Baton — and prolonged use has leveled it up: it can now replay what Musse saw before his death.
